Sigma
10 primes 14 – 135mm T1.5 – T2 PL
We run this family as standard 3, 6 and 10-lens kits. Bespoke focal mixes are built on request.
Sigma’s FF High Speed Primes brought Art-series still lens optics into a purpose-built cinema housing.
Then the /i Technology variant added Cooke’s lens metadata protocol for seamless VFX integration. The full set runs ten lenses spanning 14mm ultra-wide to 135mm telephoto, all at T1.5 or T2: one of the most complete fast-prime sets in cinema, at a fraction of the cost of Zeiss Master Primes or Cooke S7/i. We run it as 3, 6 and 10-lens kits; the 3-lens starter is the classic narrative trio of 24, 50 and 85mm. Every lens shares the same 95mm front diameter and standardised gear positions, and colour is matched across the line via Sigma’s CCI standard.
Character profile
Sharp. Fast. Modern Art-grade.
Five axes plotting how this set behaves wide-open vs a neutral modern reference. Larger area = more pronounced trait.

Talking points
10 focal lengths from 14mm ultra-wide to 135mm telephoto: covers virtually every shot in a narrative production
All 20–105mm lenses are T1.5: shoot an entire film at a single stop without changing the lighting
/i Technology metadata (PL mount) streams focus distance, focal length, and aperture for VFX pipelines
Art-lens optical heritage: 50+ megapixel resolving power built for 6K–8K cinema sensors
Standardised 95mm front diameter and gear positions: zero accessory adjustment between lens changes
Weighs 1.1–1.7kg per lens, with dust and splash-resistant sealing on every ring and mount

Heritage
Origin
Sigma leveraged their award-winning Art-series still lens optical designs into a dedicated cine housing with dampened gears, clickless iris, and luminous markings; the /i variant (PL mount only) adds Cooke’s industry-standard lens metadata protocol. The full FF HSP line comprises 11 focal lengths: the original seven (14, 20, 24, 35, 50, 85, 135mm) launched in 2017, the 28mm, 40mm and 105mm were added at IBC 2018, and the 65mm followed. All Sigma cine lenses are manufactured at their sole Aizu factory in Japan, where every unit undergoes individual MTF testing with proprietary 46-megapixel Foveon sensors before shipping.
