156m² of studio floor under permanent north-facing skylights, with a nine-metre ceiling that clears tall rigs, overhead racking and full light arrays. The floor itself is 13m × 12m: enough room for stills and motion both, with white and concrete walls that keep the backdrop neutral.

50-amp 3-phase power
A dedicated distro box runs HMI, tungsten and LED rigs. Bring your own HMI or tungsten and a $400 +GST per day power surcharge applies.

Two car spaces come with every booking, on top of the roller-shutter vehicle access.
Vehicle access, straight onto the floor
A powered roller shutter (4.5m × 5.4m) opens onto the studio floor. Load a van, a car rig or a full set build without a ramp or a trolley run.
Hair, makeup and stylist, built in
A hair and makeup station, two clothes racks, a stylist trolley and stool, plus a digi table for tethered capture. No separate room hire needed.

02 · Rates & the day
Every rate is a full day, 8am to 5pm.
A standard booking is a 9-hour day, plus GST. Start earlier or run past 5pm and the overtime and early-open rates in the fine print apply. Weekdays are one price; Saturday and Sunday each have their own.

Cancellation & payment
Cancelling a confirmed booking is charged at 100% of the Studio Hire Fee. Once you confirm, we hold the studio exclusively for your date and stop taking other enquiries for it, so a confirmed date is a committed one. If your plans change, let us know as early as you can and we'll do everything we can to move your date rather than cancel it.
Studio bookings are a flat, fully prepaid fee: there's no separate deposit or security hold. Account customers are invoiced on NET-14 terms.

04 · Gear under the same roof
The warehouse is the same building.
STUDIO at THE FRONT sits inside The Front's own rental warehouse, not next to it. Thousands of rental products, hand-painted Schmidli canvases, paper rolls in around 60 colourways, and lighting from Aputure, Profoto, Briese and ARRI, all under the same roof as the studio floor. The packages above bundle some of it in at a set price; anything else in the catalogue can be added to the same booking.
