We run this family as standard 3 and 6-lens kits. Bespoke focal mixes are built on request.

The standard-bearer Atlas Orion 2× front-anamorphic primes: the modern anamorphic workhorse with the signature cool-blue horizontal streak, oval bokeh from a 14-blade iris, and unified mechanics across every focal length (same iris and focus positions, same 0.8M gears, so lens swaps never mean motor repositioning).

The 31mm image circle covers S35, with full frame available via the Atlas 1.6× LF Extender. We run the six-lens core set (32 through 100mm), split it into A and B half-kits, and carry the wide 21mm and 25mm as individual primes.

Heritage

  1. Origin

    Atlas Lens Co. (USA) launched the Orion Series 2× front-anamorphic primes in 2018, opening with the A-Set trio (40, 65, 100mm), followed by the B-Set (32, 50, 80mm) and later the wide 21mm and 25mm.

  2. Filmography

    The mix of vintage streak character and modern reliability made the Orion a staple of independent and commercial anamorphic work. The limited Silver Edition (2021) followed, with neutral colour-reactive flares in place of the standard cool blue; it sits on its own card.

  3. Build

    Modern manufacture. Signature cool-blue flare, 14-blade iris, unified gear positions across the set. Optional 1.6× LF Extender for full frame.
