    The Canon FD 3X zoom was a workhorse of Canon’s FD-mount era (1971–1992), originally covering 35–105mm at T3.7, a popular mid-range for documentary and TV. Same SSC (Super Spectra Coating) chemistry as Canon’s celebrated K35 cinema primes from the same period.

    Widely used across 1970s–80s documentary and news production in its original FD-mount form. In rehoused cinema form it’s the natural mid-range companion to the Canon K35 prime set.
